The Golden Hill Community at the Balboa Park 1915 Expo Centennial Festival was a blending of the Golden Hill Street Fair and the Balboa Park 1915 Exposition Centennial. This event celebrated the rich culture and history of both Balboa Park and Golden Hill in a fun and interactive way for all ages.
This event featured historical exhibitions, an antique car show, a Historic Beer Garden, a live music stage, food vendors, and more. There was an Urban Geo Tracking scavenger hunt and mustache contest with prizes for participants.
For children, the Youth and Family Village offered kid-friendly activities such as games, contests, lawn sports, and a talent showcase. Families were encouraged to learn about the history of our neighborhood while enjoying the live music and fresh food.
