More than two dozen cultural organizations put the fun into STEAM—Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math—through hands-on activities, crafts, demonstrations, special exhibitions, and more.  Activities took place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and were free with paid museum admission. Participating museums also offered free admission to children 12 and under with a paying adult.

Other STEAM events were found on El Prado walkway and throughout the Park - including Veggie Art, electric vehicles, Maker exhibits, and back by popular demand, Russel, the 11-foot tall electric giraffe.
