The definitive exhibition of the 1915 Panama-California Exposition was celebratory and engaging, demonstrating the legacy of the Expo that put San Diego on the map and created the nation’s largest urban cultural park. Four million visitors streamed through the Expo gates and showed San Diego to the world. The History Center re-created the awe and wonder as we once again welcomed the world! See rare Expo silent film footage, historic photos and unique memorabilia. Visitors were able to electronically record what they would place in a 2015 time capsule to be buried at the close of 2015.
